The historic Anglebury House Restaurant and bar is set in the heart of the Dorset market town of Wareham, UK.
The house, dating from the 16th century, was originally built in 1550 and is one of the few buildings to survive the devastating fire in 1762. The restaurant has retained its old worldly charm together with many original features and centuries-old traditions, offering a warm and friendly welcome.
Our Restaurant Opening Hours are Monday to Saturday- 9:00 am to 3:00 pm | 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Drinks are available in the lounge from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday to Saturday
We are also the home of Wareham 41 Club.
The Anglebury has survived for some 450 years and we hope to continue to make those who come and stay with us, both a part of its history, as well as allowing it to occupy a special place in your heart.
